You've been a great sleeper until this week. I thought you maybe missed your Dad (he's doing volunteer work in El Salvador), or maybe it hqs just been too cold. I did some research this morning that said sometimes babies stop sleeping well when they're about to hit a major milestone, that they get so excited to being close to something new that they just can't sleep. I didn't really buy it until this afternoon when I looked up from wrapping presents and there you were:
For a split second I was concerned that you'd somehow lost your face. Once I realized what you'd just done I rescued you and we celebrated. You were all smiles. You did it a couple more times for practice, so now I suppose we're gonna have to keep a much closer eye on you.
You are working on your noises, you've moved on to actual letters, and despite my self serving attempts to promote the letter m you seem very obsessed with the letter b. You are also quite the morning baby, you always wake up grinning.
Alright baby bug, you're throwing a fit so I'm going to get your white noise machine. I adore you sweet pea!
