Baby Superstar

Baby Doll,

It's been (as usual) an eventful couple of weeks. Your Popo and your Daddy both had birthdays to celebrate, and we celebrated with food:

Daddy had his dinner at Yabby Hut with your Nanna and brothers. He ate so much crab that he successfully got on the craw of fame. You got Daddy a card, but tried to eat it so you didn't get to sign it.

Popo's birthday was at Saucy Noodle. You also got Popo a card, but again, you feel the need to eat everything so we could get you to sign it.

We've been watching a lot of football lately, the Broncos went all the way to the Superbowl, which gave us a chance to get you in a super adorable Broncos outfit. Unfortunately, the game was terrible, though Daddy made you a ball pit so you didn't seem to upset about it.

We've also gone to a couple of Nuggets games recently, you are batting 1000 at getting on the big screen, which always elicits a large "awwww" from the crowd. You also met Rocky, who took you and tried to eat you.

You just finished your first week at your new preschool. Everyone there completely adores you. Which is not shocking, you are by far the world's sweetest most easy going baby. Your teachers love you and the highschool girls that help out were all over you tonight. You are very content to pick through a toy bucket in a very deliberate manner, unlike your classmates who would prefer to dump it all at once. You are learning a lot at school, but you don't sleep well there, which has helped ensure that you sleep well at night.

You had a developmental checkup on Monday and they told you that you were slightly behind in gross motor skills because you weren't rolling over. That night, you started rolling over. You really don't seem to like being told you're behind. They also told me you are ahead with your fine motor skills (i.e. your ability to pick EVERYTHING up and get it ito your mouth), and that you're extremely expressive. They also think you may be ignoring your name on purpose (you don't respond when your name is called, but you respond to everything else, which leads us to believe you're doing it on purpose). Overall you are perfectly on track and extremely sweet:

You haven't quite figured out the pacifier nonsense, you like to chew on everything but the pacifier piece of the pacifier. Your favorite thing to do is to suck on the back of the pacifier.

You love your brothers an insane amount. Noah calls you "our girl" and Caleb likes to cuddle and smooch you:

You have just started to full out giggle, we'll do our best to get it on tape sometime in the near future. That and your new rolling abilities. I cannot tell you how extremely lucky I feel to have you, I cannot think of anything in my life that could possibly go wrong enough that I could ever be unhappy. Everything just feels right now that you're around, my only problem is that I have a hard time wanting to do anything that you are not a part of. We'll work on that. I love you baby girl, here are a couple more pictures from the last couple weeks:
