Oh man were they right when they said time flies. I cannot believe you are 7 months old already! This past month has been hectic, and you're about to go through your first of many tax seasons as a CPA's kid (don't worry we all survived it). You continue to be the world's sweetest, easiest baby..though this teething thing has you a bit off your norm. You have the world's most heartbreaking cry, it'll serve you well in getting your way. We won't have an official weight on your for a while, you're in the 15-16lbs range at the moment, we'll see if we can get you on a scale in the near future.

You are very smiley, you talk up a storm, and you can rollover (though you mostly choose not to). We've also established that you can hold a crawl position if we set you up for it, but you can't get into it yourself or move once you're there:
You ADORE your brothers, if either of them talks to you, you grin and laugh and babble something at them. They in turn, love to dress you up.

We've been working on introducing food to your diet, you still love guacamole/avocados and marinara best, but we've been working on yogurt, green beens, and carrots. You refuse to let me feed you, and insist on grabbing the spoon from me, smearing your food all over your face and spitting up half of whatever makes its way into your mouth. It's amusing, if not entirely productive.
We've continued the swim lessons, you now go underwater, and even from the start you have never made a peep about it.
You're starting to grab anything you can get your hands on, including light sabers:
The last few nights have been a bit rough, you're teething and apparently that means you do not want to be left alone to fall asleep. We had one very rough night where you were up every hour until I threw in the towel and slept with you, you woke up the next morning all grins, while I was a bit more impacted by the whole night. We've spent a few nights as cuddle buddies, but more often than not I hang with you til you're asleep than let you splay out in your crib on your own:
I think we're in our final weeks of a non-moving baby, so life is about to get hectic fast. Your nanny, Dayane, left us this past week so you'll be starting at a real school on February 1st. It's closer to my office so I'm excited to be able to come visit you during the day. It's a great school, Lawton Taylor Academy, and I think you're really going to like it there.
You are absolutely everything I've always wanted and I cannot tell you how lucky I feel to finally have you. Like your Daddy tells you...it's very hard to be grumpy when we get to see your smiley little face. Here are a few more random pictures from the month that haven't made their way to the blog yet:
