You finished your first week of kindergarten and you loved it. From day 1 when the other kids werrecrying and clinging to their parents, your teacher asked you all if you were ready to go inside, and with an enthusiastic"yep!" Off you went. You were equally excited about the bus, you get some odd looks when you cheer when it arrives, but you remain unfazed. So far you've made good friends with a kid whose name you don't know, but "he has girl hair". Every sighting of the boys in school is like a celebrity sighting. You are very well behaved in class and are thrilled with your teacher Mrs. Babbs. Kid, I feel like this is the start of something amazing. Can't wait to go along for the ride. I adore you sweet girl!

Goons
You guys are hysterical.

Ari, you are such a sweet boy. You love hugging things. All things. Spiders, posters, siblings, etc. you love to “nuggle” and be with your family. You LOVE downtown. The people, buses, noises, etc. your new phrase is “walk away” which you must have learned at school. You’re super smart, and great at figuring out ways to climb up to what you want. You’re great at communicating and letting everyone know what you need.
Kai, you are still dead set on becoming president. You’ve already started campaigning for votes and asked me “what do people even do if they’re not president?” You’re very excited for kindergarten with Mrs. Babbs. You like tball and being the center of attention. You also love keeping up with the boys and their friends. Last weekend you fell off of a bouncy slide and cut your head, you had to get 5 staples. The blood scared you, but once we got to the hospital you were good to go. You Found a movie you liked and didn’t flinch at anything they did to you.
I adore you both. Here are some pictures of the latest and greatest:

End of year update
Kiddos,
I have quite the picture dump. You guys are nuts. Just straight up crazy. In the past couple months we've been to California twice (Thanksgiving and Nanna & Grandpa's 50th Anniversarry). Most of you are champs on the plane, Arbs is exhausting. You do not like to sit still for extended periods of time, but you don't yet have the attention span to do much. So mostly you squirm around in my arms, take things out of seat pockets, knock things over and generally cause mass havoc. This will be a short and sweet entry as tax season is coming, but I wanted to do a quick update.
Kai, you tried snowboarding for the first time and were remarkably good at it. People were super impressed at your balance and ability to move around. You seemed to love it. You've started swim lessons, though you're lobbying hard for bat (t-ball), dance, and soccer. We're trying to stick to one activity at a time, but we'll see. You have quite the personality and we love how uniquely YOU you are. You adore your siblings and now refer to Arb's as your "besty". You also told me the other day that I'm "always right" and you are "never right". I wanted that down in writing as I know I will not hear that often :).
Arbs, you are into everything all the time. Your new favorite routine is to go grab granola bars from the kitchen for me to open. Then you bring them to me, I open them, and you immediately lose interest in that bar and go back for another. You are an insane eater. You eat constantly. You are very into your siblings and love to give them hugs and kisses. You know when they're sad and go to comfort them. It's hard to be sad when an Ari hug is involved. You stick to your two words...more and that. Though you've shown you know some others. You just learned how to stick your tongue out and know where your nose is. You know the sound a dog makes, the sound a cow makes, and the sound a monkey makes. You're very good at knowing where clothing goes (i.e. socks go on your feet, hats go on your head) and you like to move step stools around to get you access to things you want (i.e. gingerbread houses). You don't take very good naps, but you sleep about 11-12 hours at night so we'll take it.
The boys are doing great in third grade. You guys love Harry Potter and Roblox. You're learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the moment, not sure how much you love it yet, but you seem interested. You were in your class play in December and really enjoyed it. We'll see if you have some of your Dad's acting genes in you yet. Noah, you love to write, and are really good at it. Caleb, you're insanely clever, though you tend to use your cleverness to help you get out of doing work. It's hard to be mad when it's so creatively impressive.
Emma Bemma, you are as outgoing as ever. You make friends extremely easily and have no problem talking to anyone. You're the little Mom of the house and you like to keep your siblings in line. You adore your siblings, especially Ari who you like to carry around. You played Soccer last season and were great, you're quite the beast on the field and scored tons of goals.
Alright that's it, here are a bunch of shots from the past few months. I adore you little crew!
